Treat people the way they treat you

Yea I know how the saying goes "Treat people the way you want them to treat you",
wll, that's bullshit, since many times I've treated people with respect and was nice to them (withen limits), yet all I got was the arrogant /standoffish treatment ,most of this treatment comes from people who are cool/really confident or have the cool and I don't give a damn
l facade going on, and they expect to deal with the same type of people , so they wont ruin thier image , and anyone,seemingly yet not necessarily ,ut of thier league they look down on him ...) in one word (Narcisstic people ) . Some claim I am , and I do the same with people out of my league ,yet I usually talk with them when they talk with me , and not ignore them or just can't handle them talking to me .
