Is it worth all the Drama ?!

Is it worth it , to not befriend your own brother/sister , just because of previous issues and the different personalitis ?,it gets harder to fix the relationship as one gets older , but the brother /sister is irreplacable , why the small mind that wont be close to your own sibling ?, what if your brother/sister is gone forever , how would you feel ?. I've seen sisters , who fought over something years ago till the present (or until the sister passed away )they didn't talk to each other , and guess what they are in thier 70's -80's , and I guesss it's in the genes or upbringing since the sons of one of them have the same issue ( problems with each other ). If this is what happens with the family /siblings , so what do you say will happen between friends ?!
