The world today

"It's a small world after all
It's a small small world"

So , we made it that far to 2009 ..., I mean it was a while back since we were in the 90's , and things were different back then , there was no internet , or there was (as the end of the 90's ) but it wasn't as big as it is now , the world was bigger and now with the internet and the technology the world is getting smaller , you'd see in facebook, it's making the world even smaller ,where people will become friends , and they've never met each other , and they'll have over 600 friends or more , and people get to see your personal life and everyone will know about each other's business , that wasn't possible in the 90's .

Life back then was much simpler , people were kinder , even the way people dressed was simple , but now everything is complex , the relationships , the way of living , and even the faith in people has decreased ,you'd see alot of athiests or people who don't practise thier religion (Praying ...etc) .

I feel like the more we go into the future the more complex everything becomes , because people become more materialistic , selfish , cold,depressed. Let's take the united states , it's the most powerful country in the world , and because of that , it's a threat to other countries , you'd see the financial catasrophie that's going on , or the global warming or the wars that are brought up by the U.S.A .

Technology as good as it is , it's ruining things around , I mean why is it that back then things were better ?, is it because we were kids (my generation) or because there was no internet , no sattelite ,so people relied on simpler things ..?
